"Prayer Ministry"
The
purpose of the prayer ministry is to empower people to live by the Spirit and
draw near to God in prayer. Deuteronomy
4:7, "What other nation is so great to have their gods near them the way
the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to Him"
"Worship Ministry"
The
purpose of the worship ministry is to do all things to help the church
celebrate God. By helping the church
to focus on God through music, communion, and preaching. The
Psalmist says, "Lift up your hands to the sanctuary and bless the
Lord." (134:2)
"Property Ministry"
The
purpose of the property ministry is to make ministry more convenient and
comfortable. Paul said to the
Ephesians, "..to prepare God's people for works of service so that the
body of Christ may be built until we all reach unity in the faith and in the
knowledge of the Son of God and become mature attaining the whole measure of
the fullness of Christ" (4:12.13)
"Missions Ministry"
The
purpose of the Missions Ministry is to help the church fore a life
mission in the world. Jesus said,
"Behold I say to you, lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they
are white for harvest." (John 4:35) Missions
is a life directive of Jesus to the church.
"Outreach Ministry"
The goal of Outreach is bring others to Christ in
a saving relationship and to strengthen the members of the church. Matt.
28:19,20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and
teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with
you always, to the end of the age." We
are to attract and win people Christ.
"Education"
The goal is to develop members to a Christ-like
maturity. I Peter 2:21 says,
"To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you
an example, that you should follow in His steps." The
church's goal is to be like Christ to the world. The Education ministry will
provide proper bible study through small groups, and youth programs.
"Finance"
The goal of the Finance Ministry is to develop
members to be able to trust God.
Matthew 6:21 says, "For where your
treasure is there your heart will be." They
will help the church to realize that the principles of giving is the very
heart of the gospel.
